Sunday School
Welcome to Sunday School at Covenant—a warm and engaging time for every age to grow in faith, build community, and discover more about God's love and His Word! Whether your family is new to church, visiting for the first time, or already part of our fellowship, we invite you to join us each Sunday morning. Classes begin right before worship, giving everyone a chance to start the day connected to Jesus and to one another in a supportive, family-friendly environment.
We offer age-appropriate classes for all children and teens, taught by caring, dedicated volunteers who love sharing the gospel with the next generation:
- Nursery (Ages 0–3): Our lovingly staffed nursery provides a safe, nurturing space where even our littlest ones are cared for with gentle attention. Parents can check in their children and enjoy worship knowing they are in trusted hands.
- Preschool (Ages 3–5): Taught by Steph Alberty and Emily Kokoropoulos. Through simple Bible stories, songs, crafts, and play, young children learn that God loves them and begin to understand His big story in an exciting, age-appropriate way.
- Grades K–2 (Ages 6–8): Taught by Colette Schenewerk and Susan Chewning. Kids explore Scripture with hands-on lessons, memory verses, and activities that make God's truths come alive and help them build a strong foundation of faith.
- Grades 3–5 (Ages 9–12): Taught by Pamela Andersen and Jordan Carl. This class dives deeper into the Bible with thoughtful discussions, engaging projects, and real-life application—equipping upper-elementary kids to know and love Jesus more each week.
- Youth (6th–12th Grade): Led by Nathan Taylor. Teens gather for relevant Bible study, open conversation about life's big questions, and meaningful fellowship that strengthens their walk with Christ as they navigate the teenage years.
For adults, we currently offer:
- Co-ed Sunday School: A welcoming class for men and women of all ages! We are studying Biblical Covenants—exploring the beautiful thread of God's promises that runs throughout Scripture and points us to Christ. This class is led by Ruling Elder Jeff Chewning and provides rich teaching, thoughtful discussion, and warm community. It's a wonderful opportunity for newcomers to jump in and grow alongside others.
- Women’s Sunday School: Currently on hiatus while we enjoy learning together in our co-ed class.
